I love the atmosphere at Haviland.
It’s a really beautiful restaurant with lots of original charm and it has amazing food. Their pizza is my favorite, but I also love their lobster roll.”
Haviland Kitchen and Bar: In 1688, Joseph Haviland built a tidewater gristmill that provided the locally grown grains to a nearby bakery that
supplied farmers and tradesmen with bread. It was the first public oven in New York State. Haviland’s Old Grist Mill and the public bakery were community gatherings for two centuries.
Inspired by Joseph Haviland’s noble efforts, the Haviland Kitchen & Bar has been established for our neighbors. A Place for our community to gather and share food and drink that are crafted of the finest in-season regional ingredients.
